' We are going to miss his class '

BRUNO MANGA ONCE AGAIN SHOWED HIS CLASS AGAINST NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Warnock has already stated he wants to keep Bruno Manga, but we can't afford him.

Manga has class and under Warnock Manga shines.

Yesterday against Forest Manga gave another assured outing that combined calmness on the ball, good positioning to mop up loose balls and a dominance in the air.

My opinion surely we have to have four or five class players if we want to get promotion next season?

Bournemouth - is being linked with joining up with Eddie Howe

Daily Mirror

On a free transfer so no fee involved for Bournemouth.

I don't know what to say any more about players leaving on a free and contracts running out

I'm not sure on the budget we will have a team capable of challenging for promotion next year
The squad will be very small and if an injury comes would cost us massively.

Over the last 2 seasons we have had a lot of speculating of players coming in and have not happened.

Wish Bruno all the best for his future and I'll remember him as the defender with talent that played the odd game here and there :bluescarf:

He was outstanding yesterday and will be a massive lose next season. A Manga and Bamba centre back partnership would have been immense and given us a great chance of getting in the top 6.

Like most of us, I'm not happy about this. I was also at
the Sheffield game and we voted MOTM on the coach back and it was unanimous. He's comfortable on the ball, strong and aware, you are never nervous when he's about. But who can blame him wanting to earn as much as he can? There's very little loyalty in football, beautiful game, shit business. I really hope that the circumstances arise to make him stay as if we are serious about a push next season, he's a key part of the squad backbone.

I agree he is an excellent centre-back he is also prone to mistakes. Putting all your eggs into one basket is a risky strategy and one we should avoid. We simply can't afford £25kpw+ and the savings can be spent better elsewhere.

He was an absolute class apart again yesterday, morrison looks so average when playing with manga,Id rather sacrifice a couple of new signings and keep manga, who if fit will win a team promotion. I think hed start every game for the likes of bournemouth

I hate this - he is prone to mistakes lark.
Morrison is prone to mistakes, Connolly is prone to mistakes!
Did you see David Luiz on Sunday? 30 million pounds worth. Every defender is prone to mistakes and it doesn't matter if they are league one or premiership. Manga makes no more mistakes than any other championship defender.

How much as he played this season? not sure he is NW 1st choice in that position! I'm sure NW will get adequate player to replace him if needs to. :old:

Next seasons back 4 (Pelts, Manga, Bamba, Bennett) could be one of the best defensive lineups for us for years, but if Manga goes, lets hope we get a solid no nonsense CB as Morrison / Connolly are nowhere near the standard if we're looking for a promotion charge.

Great player, certainly at this level, but as someone said earlier, can we put all our eggs in one basket and spend around 25K a week on one player (who will probably be away on international duty too).
Also, we are too quick to blame the club imho. If a player wants to run down his contract, make it easier for any potential suitors to sign him and snap up a tidy signing on fee in the process our hands are tied I'm afraid.
We will, I believe be going for play offs / promotion next season but the club will (rightly) not be breaking the bank to do it. NW has been given the task of getting together a group of motivated players who are prepared to sweat blood for him and I for one can't wait.
Thanks for some memories and some polished performances Bruno, but now we move on.

Bad news if manga goes seriously makes me laugh people saying he wasn't that good.

I recognise that he was very good at this level but we now move on

He is a class player, too expensive for this club and probably too good as well. We will be looking for cheap alternatives or free transfers plus low wages. I can't see us challenging for promotion next season, as I suspect we will have less quality than we have had this season. However, too early to make accurate predictions until we see who Warnock brings in and who leaves. One thing for certain, we will be competing against clubs with far more money than us.

I rate him massively and wish he would stay but let's remember he has been missing most of the season and we did ok.

This.^^^^
He didn't show his class for the first dozen or so games of the season, did he?

Burton away he was bloody awful, totally uninterested. Since his return from injury, he's turned it on,,,more than likely to impress other clubs. He wanted away and I doubt there was even the remotest chance of him ever staying for a reduced contract,,,indeed, why should he?

Best of luck to him, life goes on!

Its not that I don't rate him I just think whats the point in fighting and overspending in keeping player who wants to move on the reason we have been in such a mess is the stupid wages we been paying and Manga is one of them.

Love to see him stay but not at any cost I still don't think he is better than bamba
