In another thread a poster refers to the fact AP doesn't seem to have a natural position. I fully agree. He is a talented player and his strongest attribute is dribbling with the ball at his feet but just where that fits into the side is the unanswered question.

Irritates me every time I see him play - has obvious talent but even more obvious arrogance.

Can't wait to see him leave.

He doesn't fit with how we play at all, not enough pace to go wide, not enough ability to play central.

He did a job when we needed him upfront but to go up we need better. Im sure he will be moved on if we can find him another club.

the problem for pilks is, he is a natural winger, however he lacks pace which means he cannot effectively do his job out wide, so he gets played as a number 10, but then we got others who are better

Best days for him were at Norwich, he's passed it now, drifting on his name, high wages, release him, personally think L1 is more his pedigree.

Talented player who has lost confidence. I wonder if he realises that he could be on the way out?
