What sort of luck? I don't recall any, I think that is just an excuse personally. We have earned every bit of success in the face of some seriously shocking refereeing decisions seemingly week after week. I don't believe in luck but if I was pushed I would say we have had more bad than good while up at the top table.
We will go down this year though, and fully deserve to.

No such thing. You compete where you deserve to be competing in. That is the beauty of a long term league system.
As the other thread stated, we are nowhere near FFP sanctions. Over the last 3 seasons we are around £7m in profit. We are currently allowed to lose a cumulative loss of £105m. Next season our cumulative losses will be allowed to be £83m. It isn't even worth discussing, not even close to becoming a genuine talking point let alone a reality. That is the benefit of being in the PL for so long.

But it doesnt matter what the other teams do really unless they start winning the jacks will go down.
I think they have a better squad than boro and hull... Just less confidence.
They have fully deserved their time in the premier league and I don't buy that they have been lucky or punching above their weight.
But I hope they go down and we get a couple of games against them next season.

Agree with you on all points. We don't deserve to stay up and fully believe we will go down. No complaints.
I do enjoy the "lucky" argument though. Always raises a smile.

If you're in the bottom 3 at the end of the season you go down deservedly. If your not then you don't.
This has a long way to go. If your within 6 points going into the penultimate fixtures, you have a very good chance of staying up in what will look like an unbelievable escape. Your at Sunderland where you could easily win. Hull at a very difficult Palace where I would expect them to lose. Final games will see them lose at home to Spurs leaving you to beat West Brom to stay up. Even typing that made me feel sick.

If this happens the. It's unlikely they will be investing heavily in the squad.
Also next season will be tough again in the Champ, loads of sides with parachute payments and a few sides who struggled this year looking at big improvements next year.
Likes of Villa, Norwich, Derby , Wolves and maybe even ourselves will be stronger and challenging for top 6/8 - and of course the other sides that come down, plus the ones who miss out in the playoffs this year.

Yes, yes they do. FFP is based on last 3 years regardless of league. Of those that were Prem years you are allowed £35m loss for the season, those that were championship you are allowed to lose £13m. Currently we have 3 PL seasons being our last 3. If relegated we would have the current championship and the past 2 Prem so and so forth. I guess this is where your lack of understanding is making you go wrong. As stated costs against academy and facilities are also not taken into account.
That was easy. Next...
