Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic are among clubs leading the chase for Canada international Fraser Aird.
The 22-year-old right wing-back has been impressing with Falkirk in the Scottish Championship this season.
However he is out of contract in the summer and is poised to move to England.

Promotion-chasing Fleetwood Town and Plymouth Argyle have also been to check on Aird, who scored for Canada in their international friendly against Scotland at Easter Road in March.

Born in Toronto, Aird moved to Rangers, the team his Scottish parents supported, at the age of 16.
He won the Scottish Third Division and League One titles there before joining Vancouver Whitecaps on loan, then returned to Scotland to sign for Falkirk on a short-term arrangement in January.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has also shown an interest as he considers bargains for the summer.

Saw him on TV for Canada v Scotland and he looked a real menace. Good crosses, technically sound and scored a nice goal

Watched him play for a very bad Rangers side a few times, he was a stand out, loads of pace and very direct. I was sorry to see him moved on as I thought he had loads of potential. He's far from the finished article but with the right coaching he could prove an asset and Warnock could get him for pennies.

Warnock was also at the game and no doubt would have taken notice.

A better bet that Hoilett perhaps?

I'd like to see both here.
One on each side
