NEIL WARNOCK:"LAMBERT IS FIT,BUT I AM NOT PICKING HIM"

NEIL WARNOCK:

'Lambert is fit, but I'm not picking him'

"Rickie is available for selection, but I’m not picking him. Kenneth Zohore has solved problems and I dread to think where we’d be without Ken."

"The turnaround in his performances have been incredible. Whether Ken can maintain that next season, we don’t know.
But at the moment, it’s his (Zohore) shirt and I don’t see anybody taking it off him. Rickie is training well and we didn’t use him last weekend, I wanted someone to run into the channels so I put Pilkington on."

"Rickie will be in the squad tomorrow."

Rickie Lambert currently on £25,000 plus a week.

There would be uproar if Lambert was selected ahead of Ken. Like many I got KZ wrong but the coaching genius who is Neil Warnock sorted him out and now we have a striker on modest wages doing the job, whilst the other is simply picking up his money like he always intended to do.

Let's hope Lambert is the end of the gravy train and from now on we only employ players who are prepared to work for their money.

really annoying signing, but i think the player came in good faith believing he could do a job. he could have just sat this year out at WBA.
Trollopes gamble and Trollopes fault.

I honestly believe this is Warnock's way of doing a Mourinho with Lambert. Slating him in the hope he ups his game

You might be right.

I would very shocked however if warnock got lambert fit and playing well.

Could he still play a part in the squad next year? He might have to. But he needs to be able to run for more than 45 mins.
