Anyone going to the Rugby on Saturday?

Wed Apr 12, 2017 11:31 am

Fair play to the WRU, £10 to see both games at the national stadium is a bargain. Me and a couple of mates fancied it and it looks at the moment to be about 55,000 tickets sold so should be a decent atmosphere.
Could be a good bit of entertainment on the weekend since City aren't playing :bluescarf:

First time in Cardiff for months. Grandparents babysitting. No football. Mrs likes the egg so we're off with a big group of friends. Hopefully the sun will be out.

Looking forward to it actually.

more often than not its Wez with the politics threads. if he suggested we pay 10 quid to watch back to back political speeches at milstad { probably easier to understand than rugby rules } he would get abuse too.

Is this when the not so best Pro 12 teams get to play at the Principality as long as they are a Welsh region.

Do the other, better, clubs in the Pro 12 get this sort of benefit at any point in the season?

When Leinster play Munster home (the 2 best teams in the league at the moment) they play in the Aviva instead of Leinsters home ground just up the road, Edinburgh already play in Murrayfield, and the Italian clubs don't seem to draw enough crowds to make it worth moving the game.

Unfortunately I keep missing this game! Last year I couldn't make it back from uni that weekend, this year I'm off to watch Dortmund! Hopefully I'll be able to make it next year :) Also, as a Scarlets fan, it's made even more interesting this year with the battle to make the play offs, and potentially to overtake the Ospreys by the end of the season if results go out way ;)

Fair play to the WRU they have played a blinder, got to be looking at £350,000+ in ticket sales and then food/drink and merchandise on top.

2 games for £10 is great value, know quite a few City fans that are going with their lads who play both sports at Junior level. Some of them off to Wednesday tomorrow aswell, Rugby Saturday then back down the City on Monday, great weekend of sport.

Enjoy

Hats of to the WRU and it looks like being a decent day weather-wise, too! :ayatollah:

I noticed it and good on the mod that deleted it.
He just came on, cursed him out and attacked him personally over a homorous remark.

Keyboard warrior, I'd like to see him say it to his face.

This anti rugby lark on here is the biggest load of nonsense ever. As if people are not allowed to like rugby at all. Small minded to say least

It is just the guys who feel inferior because they couldn't stand the heat when playing rugby in school. Just ignore them.

Maybe a few rugby boys have bullied them in the past/ or taken their girlfriends. Sad really.

The majority likes both sports :thumbright:
