Is it a Welsh thing?

Wed Apr 12, 2017 8:45 am

It looks like the Jacks,Newport and us all have low away support and don't travel away?

looking at the list thats been published whats obvious is A} its very impressive how many fans travel away ..B} but we are close to the bottom.
with a lot of effort and the will of the fans could we be top or near the top of that list.? the answer is no
the South Wales Police would go into meltdown, and convince the home clubs to reduce allocation and move KO times .
examples of this are Villa this year {reduced allocation } . Bristol City { rediculously early KO}, and Brentford { early KO on boxing day ffs }..last year. with quite a bit of interest Leeds eventually gave us 500 tickets {which our club turned down } because of info recieved by police SPOTTERS { police officers in their 30s with gear they bought yesterday , only wear while on football duty, and look uncomfortable in } .going back a bit more in the prem Fulham {which sold out in about an hour} refussed to sell neutral end tickets {i know quite a few did get in there} to Welsh people or people with welsh accents. i was told on phone i needed to be a member .AND have a booking history. yet leeds took 7k there?
we get and have had stupid amounts of bubbles.you have to be a member.RV points. then get shoved in a designated pub.
plus quite a few of these clubs can not accomodate large away suport. oh and tan

The club have won........

They set out to make us a normal club and not a hooligan club and achieved their goal.

From the stadium design; Have you been to a better stadium for a fan segregation perspective than the CCS ? To the ticketing system, restrictions and ticket pricing to stewarding. They have tried to get rid of the lad culture and succeeded.

If we enter the promotion race or actually get to the premier league our away attendances will improve but it will be day trippers (like me) not hard core away, they have gone

my point is a lot of our fans got fed up with it. how big were our allocations for play off semis at both Bristol and Stoke ? were they bubbled.? was it fair? it became a chore that doesnt just go away because whoop de doo no restrictions now means a 12 o clock kick off

our fans have been unevenly treated for donkeys years but the police are not to blame because they are our matey mates.

I stopped going because of the hazzle getting to ground and from police! went to wolves and found police great, but city fans pain in arse as drunk and not caring about fellow fans trying to watch game! Is this typical if away games now?

Wolves was bit odd as the stewards kept trying to get you to sit in the allocated seat on your ticket
My wife was with me , her first away game had to stand at the back ,until I said no way and moved foreward ,but we could only get seats to the left ,and they were standing in the 2nd row to our right
Why do bloody 6 ft men want to stand in the front rows ffs go to the back and tell the away stewards to do one

I didn't sit in allocated seat although was told should do by steward! Once in stand was easy to just sit in front row or wherever there was a seat empty! Must say stewards were very lenient of fans Pissing about around me.

Spot on mate, couldn't agree more. Apart from one or two games the "edge" from away games has completely gone and it's exactly what the club want.
