' EMYR HUWS '

Football League

Since making his debut for Northampton Town five years ago, the ex-Manchester City trainee has enjoyed time at seven different clubs across all four divisions of the English football pyramid.

Emyr Huws, whom has ten appearances for the Wales national team, was expected to finally settle down at Cardiff City after putting pen-to-paper last summer but it didn’t plan out that way and was shipped out on loan in January.

The 23-year-old was labelled as a possible long-term midfielder at the Bluebirds; however, he now needs to deliver at his age and perhaps the best possible way of progressing is to rewind – take a step into League One.

This way Huws may galvanise spectators and scouts to earn his place in the Championship rather than being a fringe player.

Let's hope Ipswich buy him from us and we get rid of another one in order to start the rebuilding process.
