Even though you got into the situation years ago at the friendly, I think you have a soft spot for The County and respect them.

I'm A Newport boy been following City since 91/92.
Got into my fair share of scrapes with lads in town through the 90's before I moved away.
My brother and lots of my mates still go over, but most of them follow other clubs.

As years pass and when I get home, there is a forever growing amount of City fans in Newport in addition to loads that have been going since the 60's/70's.

I have a big soft spot for The County and very much hope that they stay up.

Had many a run in with Newport.

Newport were our rivals for years in the 70's/80's , a lot fun in them days,bad feeling,but as years go by I now have a lot of County friends.

And for Welsh Football I want Newport County to stay up

Jeff Stelling's 'Monkey Hangers' are looking woeful at the moment!

That was a massive game at Exeter yesterday and taking only 300 odd fans to what is like a local game, I am dissapointed in.

But surely it would be good for Welsh football if Swansea also stayed up , do you want them to stay up aswel?! :O

No, I want Swansea in our division.

Newport going out of the league will be a awful and a massive loss.

I am a Cardiff fan and so I want us to be the Top Club in Wales,surely you do as well

Nah! I would look forward to playing them next season if it happened and would also look forward to seeing the smug look of their temporary fans slowly melting away!

Syr Huw of Jenkins (who was a man to be admired for raising the debt-avoiding Phoenix) has truly messed it up with his sale of the club to the American Bankers (polite term) in the pursuit of personal interest and profit but I guess a large Villa in Spain will see him okay later

Where will the temporary fans be then? Uhm, probably back watching the Ospreys!
