Thought he was tremendous for them today.
Ran the show 1st half and did well 2nd half. he ruined us for Shrewsbury in a pre season friendly before up there. knew we should have moved for him then.
imagine him next to Gunner if we could get him for next year.
surely a bid for around 2 mill will snap him up.
anyone else think he was good today ? if you dont know he was the ginger 1 sitting in midfield for them.
also liked their keeper bentley. remember him playing for southend in a playoff final a few seasons ago against wycombe and looked good.
goes to show theres a few gems in lower league with good scouting

He's first class. I'd trade in Whittingham for him every day of the week. Younger too.

Thought initially when I saw a ginge in midfield that it was that twunt Quinn who used to play for Sheff United but when I looked in the programme I was pleased to see it wasn't!

I don't often notice the opposition players unless they stand out for one reason or another but i thought Woods was very good today - the sort of tidy, busy player that most good sides seem to have on the team sheet.

He was constantly buzzing around midfield and playing good balls through us, helped a bit by the fact that Whitts rarely got close enough to him to disrupt his game but, as Whitts would undoubtedly point out, it didn't do him much good at the end of the day!
