One thing is for sure the SPL is the Old Firm, without a strong Rangers Celtic will suffer and vice versa. When Rangers went into meltdown many a Celt laughed and gloated at Rangers misery.Stupid really, and I said as much at the time both are reliant on one another and as such the SPL is in absolute need of the revenue these games realize.
