Sorry about this Jacks theme, I had an some spare time on my hands and looked up the following information.
Its regarded that 38 points keeps you in the premier league, the Jacks have 28 with 7 games left. they have averaged 0.9 points per match throughout the season, over those 7 remaining matches they need to up their game by 50% to an average of 1.4 points per match to gain the 10 points needed for safety.
If they loose this Saturday that target would need an upturn of form to a level of the top 6 teams in the premier league. I think its a case of

to the premier league for the jacks and we have the derby match back next season

keep the champagne on ice. nothing wrong with your maths and im sure if they had an infinate amount of games left 0.9pts per game would continue. but football isnt like that. teams do not pick up a steady amount of points you get good runs and bad runs.Swanseas best haul over a 7 game period is 12 points this run of form repeated would put them safe i think on 40pts. their 2nd best haul over 7 games is 8pts replicate this and it takes them to 36pts which is a maybe figure.
ive got my fingers crossed that they end the season as they started it 4pts from 7. 32point total relegated .

They had an improvement when Clement took over, but after Bob Bradley,Trollope would have improved them ( well maybe not)
Now its squeaky bum time.
But as we have a vested interest in Hull staying up (Marshall extra payment)
It'll be too much to ask for the Jacks to do us a favour and get relegated instead of Hull , so Cardiff can have a little more money.
But if they do it for us , wouldn't that be lovely

We could then thank them personally next season .

While I'm not particularly bothered whether the Jacks stay up or not it would be
Brilliant to have the South Wales Derby back for next season

They're not down yet. Palace failing to hold on Southampton was a huge result for them. They have a really tough run in.

As much as i hope they get relegated there's a long way to go yet. Only 2 points behind Hull, who have Man City away this weekend.

Pulis the bluebird to give Swansea their last prem league loss.
Couldn't end any better

Sadly I agree, I think Palace will take the final relegation place, hope I'm wrong!

If they lose to West Ham they're in the shit.
After that, they and Hull have a very similar set of fixtures and Hull look more up for the fight - Marco Silva was a brilliant appointment.

Can't see Hull getting anything from Man City, The Jacks need to beat West Ham. If they don't , pressure will definitely be on them . With games running out fast.
It won't be boring down west over the next few weeks that's for sure.

I see a couple of games the Jacks could win and I also see a few games away they will come back with a point.
I also see a team above them Crystal Palace struggling.
It is going to be close if they survive or not. Personally I don't think they will. I don't think their team has the fight for this sort of thing.
