I notice that Stuart O'Keefe scored again for MK Dons last night. I really hope that Warnock gives him a chance next season. Out of all our players on loan he has a proven record of consistency in the Championship and I only wish he was on our bench instead of Warnock signing Halford.
O'Keefe was one of our best players second half of last season and those who talk about releasing him should recall that.
He's also the perfect midfielder for Warnock's high energy style.

Agree with you he's hard working all over the place gets stuck in and is adding goals to his game. I'd like to see him here next season

As others have said before i'm surprised he isn't Warnocks type of player. However we haven't really missed him, no doubt Warnock will want to bring in someone else as well as what we have. At least his good form should mean we pick up a fee for him. I wonder what kind of wage he is on, could be one of the reasons.

Something must have happened at Palace.....
I had O'Keefe down as one of his 2 sitting midfielders in his 4231 or 433. Its about getting to the second ball first and him Gunnar and Ralls all do that. The omission of Whitts indicates to me this is the principle role of the midfielders from now on

well he signed a new 3 year contract last August {with a year still to run on the contract he had } so id imagine good wages.
it does look like Warnock doesnt want him so it could be a case of him going on a free if he can find a club.
there again NW could change his mind about the player like he did with Diouf

O'keefe improved our midfield massively when he came in. I've heard he fell out with Warnock at palace. When asked about him Warnock just instantly dismisses him and said he's not part of his plans. Other than the fall out I can't think why he wouldn't be in our team.

I agree with everything said above, O'Keefe was excellent for us and I thought he would be key to us under Warnock.

I was surprised to see O'Keefe go. I would like to keep him here.

I had a feeling that they fell out at Palace, which is a shame. How else can you explain his treatment?
If we had him now Gunnars could have a well-deserved break.
I'm still trying to understand the signing of Halford.....No way is he a midfielder.

i dont think much of Halford myself, but i think the manager sees him as reliable to do an ok steady job in a number of positions, a low maintenance squad player that wont pout or have a strop if not playing.

Probably on a quarter on the wage as well.
