City got a draw tonight, was it deserved? yes for battling and giving 100%, but our play was awful, lacked pace and No real attacking threat.

Barnsley were by far the better team, but an away draw is a good away point for Cardiff :thumbright:

Not one shot on target by City in the 90 mins tonight.

BRIAN MURPHY I MADE MAN OF THE MATCH & HE ONLY PLAYED HALF A GAME IN THE SECOND-HALF.

Warnock made major changes tonight.

Barnsley had by far the better of the first half, but over all ,No major chances in a relatively quiet first half by Cardiff.

Neil Warnock tonight gave the Captains arm band to Sol Bamba and dropped Sean Morrison to the bench.
Kadeem Harris was also dropped to the bench.

Declan John was tonight given his chance in the starting line up.
Barnsley had the better of the first 20 minutes.

Cardiff started in to the game, but Barnsley looked more like scoring.
No major chances in a relatively quiet first half by Cardiff, but Barnsley were by far the better team.

H/T Barnsley 0 Cardiff City 0

There was a half time change for Cardiff as Brian Murphy replaced Allan McGregor.
McGregor was injured earlier in the game.
Murphy had to make save after save as Barnsley pressurised Cardiff tonight.
Even a double save.

64th min
Sol Bamba was replaced by Sean Morrison, Bamba went off injured.

Declan John replaced Kadeem Harris

City started to have ago and tried to attack, but Barnsley were solid.

Barnsley were by far the better team and never stopped.

None looked awful yet again.

Not one shot on target by City tonight.

Felt like a pre season match which is basically these remaining games will be just be experimental for Warnock.

To many changes in my opinion and no creativity in the middle you could see we weren't going to create much. Not sure we learnt much we didn't already know tonight.

Luke, I believe Warnock knows we are safe and he is trying out every member of our squad.

We played awful.

But We gained a point, happy with that :thumbright: :bluebird:

Yeah now is the time to try things just think he could have learn more about say Noone if we have someone in the middle who could use the ball better to find him in better positions etc

Championship mid-table pair Barnsley and Cardiff played out a bore draw at Oakwell.

Neither side could find the finish or a killer through-ball as both teams’ recent dull form continued.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side are certainly labouring - this proved to be a eighth match without a win. While the Bluebirds’ have won just once now in their last seven.

Heckingbottom had made two changes to the side which were held by the Owls.

Full-back Andy Yiadom was out after suffering a shoulder injury, replaced by Gethin Jones. Marley Watkins was handed the nod to start again, in place of loanee youngster Ryan Kent.

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock made a handful of alterations to his side following the weekend’s 3-1 loss at Wolves.

A game marred by injuries to Bamba and McGregor.

Cardiff City made it seven without a win after settling for a goalless draw with Barnsley at Oakwell on Tuesday evening.

The two mid-table sides drew a stalemate in a drab Tuesday evening fixture between two teams with very little to play for between now and the end of the season.

Neither side could muster up anything resembling a clear-cut chance and they were forced to settle for a point.

I'm on the supporters' club coach, on our way home. We were under a lot of pressure, but I'm happy enough with a clean sheet and a point.

In all fairness Warnock has said that once he gets to 50 + points he was going to try things with squad players he has not seen yet and play players in different positions

Much changed line up so a decent point. After having the misfortune to be at burton away earlier in the season, I'm glad I can be a bit disappointefd with an away point and knowing city will be in the championship next season. Think its clear who will not be here next season
