A forum for all things Cardiff City

Personally I don't see many.
?
Adam Le Fondre says he wants to end his career with Bolton, he's enjoying another loan spell with the League One club who are on target for an instant return to the Championship.
The Cardiff City flop has scored five in 13 at the Macron Stadium and he's expected to sign permanently when his contract expires at the end of this season.
Emyr Huws is another who could leave at the end of his loan deal with Ipswich Town hoping to secure him full time, and Stuart O'Keefe is enjoying his time at MK Dons.
Tom Adeyemi remains on loan with Rotherham United but with the Millers relegated, it's unlikely he will stick around.
His contract with Cardiff expires at the end of this season and he's extremely unlikely to get another.
Those with less certain futures include Matthew Kennedy, currently on loan with Plymouth, Idriss Saadi , on loan with Kortrijk, and Deji Oshilaja who's currently with Gillingham.
Kennedy has impressed with League One-bound Plymouth and could return, or he may be sent back on loan, but he's unlikely to be sold.
Saadi is enjoying his time in Belgium but Warnock admitted earlier this year he will look at him further before making a decision.
Oshilaja, now aged 24, is another impressing on loan - he may be considered during pre-season but with a number of good centre-backs at the club, he could well find himself away from South Wales next season.
Goalkeeper Allan McGregor has been Warnock's number one since joining on loan from Hull but with Premier League wages, the Cardiff boss has admitted it will be difficult to keep him long-term.
Ben Amos , the goalkeeper who began his loan quite brightly has been castaway and now Cardiff's number three, he'll be returning to Bolton at the end of his loan deal. Cost City a fortune.

For me, I'd love Adeyemi, Huws and Idris to get a summer review. Adeyemi never used/played in his best role imo. He could feature or provide cover for either Gunnar's or Ralls. How's was unhappy here before Warnocks arrival, he has showed his potential on loan and took a pay cut to do so - Warnock is bound to be impressed with his attitude. It's whether he sees him as a bit lightweight or injury prone. I'd ''tis speaks for himself I think.

those out of contract will find new clubs.
i doubt very much Ipswich can get near Huws wages. and likewise MKD with O Keefe. and it doesnt look like NW wants either ,could end up with both getting golden handshakes .
Kennedy was given a run out just before leaving which might mean he has a future here especially if any of Hoillet, harris and Noone move on.
id love us to sign McGregor but its all about cash there too.

I reckon McGregor signing will depend on Hull relegation and of course interest from promoted clubs. He's a great Keeper, I'd love to have him also. I do believe Warnock will have another 1 or two in mind as this position cost us so dearly after Trolls left.

I'd like to see what Warnock could do with Adeyemi still think he has something.
Kennedy maybe one to come in as a squad player another who I think has something about them.

I'd like to see a Kenneth Zohore and Idriss Saadi partnership up front.

With McGregor, the one player who should be given a chance isn't mentioned here - O'Keefe. He was one of our best players second half of last season. He seems the perfect fit for Warnock as well, being hard-working and very good at keeping it simple.
For me, the most disappointing thing about Warnock is not giving him a chance. Unbelievably, he was only a sub v. Fulham in the Cup. He came on and looked our best player!
Not sure about Huws, who seems far too laid-back.
