Neil Warnock makes surprising claim regarding Wolves side following Cardiff's defeat

Neil Warnock's Cardiff City side were beaten 3-1 by Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
Following Cardiff City's defeat at Molineux at the weekend, Neil Warnock has hit out at Wolves and seemingly suggested that they may have reached their ceiling in the game, the Express and Star reports.
A Danny Batth brace and Helder Costa's 10th goal of the campaign in the Championship saw Paul Lambert's men pick up a valuable three points as they look to create more daylight between themselves and the bottom three in the table.
Interestingly, Warnock suggested that Cardiff cost themselves the game, and was seemingly not impressed by their opponents, pointing out the money they have already spent.
"You saw Wolves spent £12 million on one player," Warnock said, as reported by the Express and Star. "We haven't spent a penny. We brought Greg Halford in.

"I think we can improve, I'm not sure they can.
"I don't think they won the game, I think we lost it really."
Of course, Wolves have not got everything right this season, but it would be unfair to suggest that their current squad could not elevate themselves to a much higher position than the one they are currently in.

Not only did the club make a number of signings in the summer, but several of those players had no previous experience of the English game, let alone the second tier, before their arrivals.
While Warnock is not convinced, Wolves have won their last four games, including three against sides currently above them in the table.
And considering several of the squad have been with the club less than a year, while the manager only joined in November, it would appear that they could still boast a lot of potential despite what Warnock thinks.
