Derby get a narrow win in Gary Rowett's Pride Park opener.

Still looks tough for them to make top six.

Eight games to go and Derby have to win 4 more than Sheff Weds to get 6th place (the only reasonable remaining place they can target) so not likely

Could be a force next year though, with a decent manager and financial backing (subject to FFP Rules, of course)
