' Adam Le Fondre Wants to End His '

Fri Mar 31, 2017 8:33 am

Le Fondre currently on approx £25,000 a week with Cardiff City who are paying half his wages,is on loan to Bolton till June, but his contract with Cardiff City finally runs out.

Bolton will not be able to afford to pay him more than the £12,500 they are contributing to at the moment.

BUT will any other club offer higher? I doubt it.

Le Fondre wants to stay at Bolton and is very happy there.

Le Fondre on his day can score goals.

Le Fondre Pledges to Match Bolton Fan's Charity Donation

Adam Le Fondre has expressed a desire to remain at Bolton when his contract at Cardiff City expires at the end of the season.

Le Fondre has proved to be a costly mistake for the Bluebirds, for whom he has made just 25 appearances during a three-year spell in the Welsh capital, the most recent of which came in defeat at Norwich City in January 2015.

After a hugely successful loan period with Wanderers two years ago, the 30-year-old has since endured miserable stints at both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic before returning to Macron Stadium in January.

Le Fondre's goalscoring niche has returned in recent games, having scored five goals in as many games, and when asked whether he would consider ending his playing career with the Trotters, the 30-year-old simply responded: "That's the plan.

"I spoke to Bradford and Stuart McCall but then I sat down with my Mrs and she went 'Are Bradford going to make you happy? Are you going to be happy at any other club apart from Bolton?'.

"I told my agent that there was only one club in League One I thought I'd do well at. It was a gamble for me to do that but I backed myself to come here and score goals.

"One of the main reasons I came back was because I had such a good spell the first time.

"The fans have been magnificent with me."

Bite the bullet until June then wash our hands of the greedy waste of space.

There's an old adage that goes something like "So long as it's not in my backyard!" and Adam Le Fondre is a perfect example of that...

A waste of Cardiff City's money for a number of years and whilst I can understand this particular 'modern' player's greediness at wanting to 'milk' his current contract to the full, it leaves me with little or no respect for the guy for the way in which he has gone about it

Roll on June, when 'ALF Le Milk' will no longer be a financial burden on our club and he move on to pastures new; probably Bolton Wanderers but ultimately anywhere but here! ;) :ayatollah:

Adam Le Fondre has vowed to match a supporters' charitable donation, pledging to send £100 to Bolton Hospice should he score in a Bolton victory against Chesterfield.

Le Fondre, who has rediscovered his scoring touch at Wanderers, scoring five goals in as many games, has always enjoyed a positive relationship with fans at Macron Stadium and is a regular poster on social networking service, Twitter.

On Thursday evening, Trotters follower Ross (@rossco_1990) took advantage of Le Fondre's availability through the social network, sending a tweet that stated: "If you score on Saturday and #BWFC win I'll donate £100 to the fantastic folk at Bolton Hospice."

Within minutes, the Wanderers forward issued a response, saying: "Quality pal! I'll match it if I do aswell then."

The gesture was met with unanimous praise from supporters of Bolton and beyond, with the publicity putting Bolton Hospice in the limelight just two weeks before they enter the busy Easter period.

This is largely creditable and highly publicises Bolton Hospice (who could yet get nothing, if the result goes against them) so I hope that ALF and the other Bolton players will donate the money to Bolton Hospice regardless of whether he plays, he scores and Bolton Wanderers win the match tomorrow

Afterall, it's a highly worthy cause and ALF Le Milk does get £12,500 'free' money from his own personal sponsor (Cardiff City FC) every week for not playing, not scoring and not winning them games! ;)

Waste of space, just finally glad to be shut of him

Thankfully he didn't make an offer if he scored at Cardiff. The hospital would never got money! He is a total waste of space and one of the worst signings in our history, as he is capable but just didn't want too at Cardiff, so good riddance to him
