Went down to the Leckwith Stadium this afternoon.
A good game which saw City go in at the break a goal to the good. Tony Bird scoring from close in after good with down the left by Declan John.
After the break a physical Utd side got the early share of the play but lack of a finisher let City take a hold of the game. City wasted a hand full of chances, with the Sheffield 'keeper pulling off a host of top saves to keep his side in the game. Chances by Meite, Beale, weymabs and Harris as well as Humphreys.
Then with over 95 mins played a mix up in the City box let in Utd for their Equilizer. Overall, City deserved all 3 pts but wasteful chances and good keeping, had to settle for a point.
Meite looked useful. Tom Rosenthal played up front.Anyone know of this player? Code looks like he could step up to the first team.
All the management were there to oversee proceedings. Warnock and Blackwell. Bellamy and Choose was also there.. Quite a few other Clubs' Scouts in attendance.
Kept a close eye on Declan John. Head was down and can see him moving on in the Summerm
