Cardiff do not have to fear Wolves away or any club thats left to play
By Jamie Kemble
Cardiff will hope they can now take momentum from the win at Ipswich by backing it up when travelling to Wolves after the international break. It won’t be any easier, however.
Paul Lambert has made Wolves hard to beat, and they’ve obtained 10 points from their last four games, including an impressive 3-1 win over an in-form Fulham side last time out.
The Bluebirds shouldn’t fear Wolves or any other team they come up against in their remaining fixtures, though. They have players who can hurt teams, and with Zohore up front anything is possible.
The big Dane went into double figures for this season with the two goals in the victory over Ipswich, and Warnock described him as having every attribute a player can have.
He can strike fear into any defence, and the goal for the Danish under-21 striker will now surely be to break the 15 goal barrier.
Ultimately, as a team The Bluebirds will look to finish on a bang to put them in good stead going into next season.
A season where Warnock wants his players to challenge for a place in the Premier League, and with more performances like Saturday’s win over Ipswich, it’s certainly possible Cardiff can finish this season on a high to give the fans optimism going into next season.
