Footage shows the moment Queens Park Rangers defender Steven Caulker was handcuffed and taken into a police van.

Caulker, who had made one appearance for England, was arrested after allegedly refusing to take a breathalyser test.

The 25-year-old, who earned around £40,000-a-week, was arrested at around 1.30am on Sunday after leaving a nearby kebab house.

Mobile phone footage shows Caulker talking to three male police officers next to his £100,000 customised Range Rover.

One of the cops then pulls his wrists together behind his back and cuffs him before leading him away.


The England national's black car is positioned near the barriers on the ground floor of the Victoria Street Car Park, Windsor with its lights on and front doors open.

A second clip, filmed moments later on the street outside, shows Caulker speaking to officers outside a parked-up police van.

The Premier League star then gets inside the van and the doors slam behind him.

Police confirmed that they have charged Caulker, of Richmond, with failing to provide a specimen for breath analysis required under the Road Traffic Act 1988.

Reveller Jack Yates, 23, was out with pals celebrating the England rugby win when he spotted the commotion.

Jack said he filmed the clips on his mobile after he and his mates bumped into Caulker, who was with a male friend, at Istanbul Kebab House earlier in the evening.

The agricultural journalist, of Weybridge, Surrey, said: "I said, 'I recognise you from somewhere. I know your face from somewhere.'

"The bouncer said, 'You know who that was? It was Steven Caulker.'

Jack and his pals decided to venture inside and saw Caulker being arrested from the stairwell.

Thames Valley Police confirmed the incident on Sunday morning.

They said: "Steven Caulker, aged 25, of Richmond, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen for breath analysis required under the Road Traffic Act 1988.

"It is in connection with an incident near the Victoria Street Car Park, Windsor this morning 12/03/17.

Seem to remember he was renting a house while he was playing with us, think it was John Barrowman's?

He then trashed the place up and Barrowman said he would never rent out to a footballer again.

Not a surprise.

ive said it many times on here, there comes a time in a footballers life, when you made it, become untuchable, then you dont play the footballers role, you play a stars role, sad, so many footballers have choosen the stars role, rather than the football players role

Wasn't John Barrowmans but it was in Sully.

Stupid man he definitely had the talent if he had knuckled down and acted as a true professional. Still admire him for his goal vs. the Jacks but can't help thinking he has wasted his career in which he should have collected medals and not criminal convictions.
