Can you confirm those salaries? :?

I only ask because someone close to me (loosely linked to club finances from the outside) tells me some of those higher figures are wholly inaccurate and amount to mischief-making ;)

Truth is Sven apart from the player, agent and CEO nobody else really knows.

I agree some of the figures branded about seem unbelievable, but i think it pretty common knowledge that we are are club known to pay high wages and have been for many years.

Tan himself in an interview last year admitted we were paying Kenwyn £38000 per week

Just shows that no one actually knows and some of the figures banded around are ridiculously way out !

Agree think there is a hidden agenda with people posting these figures !

Football has gone mad when you think Fred's annual salary is £18.20, especially when you realise you can get a set meal for 2 from my local Chinese for that.

well our last set of accounts showed wages of 25million so someone is earning a lot of money . and although some of those guesses above are high there are also a couple lower.

You are correct that the player wage bill in the May 206 accounts was £25.4m , which related to 55 players. So the average wage per player was £461k or £8.9k per week. Some of the more expensively paid players on the books that season have since moved on , so both the total and the average will be quite a bit less this current season.

agree
but that is still very high as an average though especially when it contains a large percentage of youth dvp players who havent even been part of our matchday squad.eg. if you assume 20 of those non 1st teamers are on 4k p w. { just over 4mill a year total } it then pushes the average wage of the 1st team squad {35 players } up to 12k.
the total will 100% drop but how much ?
i dont think immers, lambert, huws, richards, bennett, amos and more recently hoilet and mcgregor were bargain basement players.
my thoughts are next season we will be fine.the year after? how on earth do the club get the wage bill down to an acceptable level without the TV money to suport it.

You're right. And Tan did reveal that little nugget!

My point is the same as yours, i.e. that only a select number of people really now and to put these figures up as if they were fact is simply mischievous :ayatollah:
