Most disturbing thing about it all is the guy with his kid who clearly don't want to be there.
Why are we try to glamourise this??

For this reason the clamour we have on here for putting canton stand next to away fans is just asking for problems after the game? Brum fans were out and on motorway within 20mins of end game because didn't need segregation from home fans after game. Which would not be case If canton stand was where family stand is?

Not really. Outside is outside and (if they are minded to do so) rival supporters could still easily confront each other as they exit the stadium and mix pretty freely (head on at one point before the bus depot on Sloper Road) these days
The 'mix' of supporters before (where many Brum fans were confused as to how to get to the away end, which is back up the public highway) and after the game on the weekend is testament to that
Inside is completely different and the CCS is well segregated and trouble is highly unlikely. Bringing the 'Canton' fans into what is now the Family Stand would IMHO only improve the generally flat atmosphere at the CCS
It appears the 'handbags' between Millwall and Spurs (not saints themselves, as we know all too well) supporters didn't amount to much but, as always, selective imagery and reporting will paint a different picture of events
And I would have thought Mouthy Millwall went home with their tails between their legs after a drubbing at a White Hot Lane that was achieved even without their in-foorm striker, Harry Kane
