In true Neil Warnock side, he’s not taking any risks. Get to 50 points, then experiement, says the veteran boss.

"We have to get to 50 points as soon as we can, win two home games, and then look at younger lads, one or two lads in different positions."


"I want to clear my mind out, it’s how we can improve and use these games as a base for next season rather play season out with non-enitity games. I’ve not made my mind up with some players so they are playing for their future."

As he already says he is going to use it to get rid of dead wood so come end season he knows what is required in way of players and positions! Great way to do things.

Whilst I am all for this approach, doesn't playing weaker sides question the integrity of the league?

yes it does . but it is how football is these days. and infact nobody knows this better than our manager who to this day holds a grudge against Benitez for putting a 2nd string out on the final day of the season which contibuted to NWs Sheff United being relegated.
