Fri Mar 10, 2017 9:37 am

Slightly off topic I know...but going to London in September for a few days and hoping to take in a show

I knew it was going to be expensive, but bloody hell some of the ticket prices are eye watering...anybody know how to get hold of cheaper tickets???

It's difficult when you don't live in London but can get cheap seats on day of performance from various outlets in london and the pheatre of the show you want to see , depends on how fussy you are about the show you want to see? But if going to London anyway ask at hotel they'll help you.

Hi mate . I went up in February with my family and we bought on the day from the booths on Leicester Square I have done this many times although this time we were struggling to get a good deal maybe because it was half term. But if you are not looking for anything particular then you can usually get a deal. Go there on the afternoon of the day that you want to go in the evening.

Fella, if you want specific tickets then pre-book for assurances, but if you are flexible there are a few Ticket Booths on Leicester Square and they will have something for you at greatly reduced prices

Personally, I don't use the 'main' one in the middle of the Square itself, as I find the one on the corner (go UP past the Odeon and turn right for 10 yards) :ayatollah:
