CCFC RED SEATS ?

How about this as an idea.
The red seats look out of place in the stadium and there was talk of them being changed to blue.
To save costs how about leaving the red seats in the shape of the Welsh dragon and the remainder all white. So you are hit by it as you come out the tunnel.

To me, when you look at the clubs current financial position, it would be crazy just to dump the red seats. Problem with them is they stick out like a sore thumb situated where they are. With some thought I'm sure they could be incorporated into the overall seating plan and not look out of place.
Trouble is there will be plenty for whom the mention of red (no matter what the context) will be like the proverbial '---' rag to a bull.

No way. Get rid of them.

They are being changed to blue during the summer. I was told this by a photographer who works for Tan.

i know this is controversial but i like them, makes our stadium more interesting rather than it being a wall of blue

if they're gonna change i think it'd be really nice if it was like a darker blue like the top of our home kit last season

its all about opinions though..personally i hated the concrete coloured concrete i stood on at Ninian Park.
my match day experience would have been enhanced had they put blue concrete down.

seriously though im just glad we appointed a real manager and wont be playing in lge1 nxt year..
next season every single penny should go to team strengthening,because the year after the parachute payments stop which is the bulk of our revenue.

Fill the away end and any left over keep as spares for when the jacks rip the away end up next season .

i dont like the red seats, but i dont dislike them enough for the club to prioritise changing them.
having said that if someone {a fan } felt strongly enough to start a buy a blue seat campaign id probably buy a couple.

I think the club have more important things to be doing right now than worrying about the section of the stadium that wont even be open.

and it totally beats me how a block of 3k red seats can be less offensive in the lower tier than they are in the upper.

They would be no less offensive, but at least they'd be for away fans. I know it's not a priority or even a major issue but it is just a constant reminder of the rebrand.

Personally I'd prefer them changed to blue or even yellow but they are in now (in red) and I'd rather them spend the money on players next season and towards the clubs stability. At some point I'd love to see them changed to blue....

well enough people post about how wound up or offended they are seeing all that red. it would take 3k pple to buy a blue seat and the club to agree.

I think we should sell them as a job lot to the wurzels as replacements for the ones they will rip up during the Trashton Gate riot following their imminent relegation. Also, just like our ST renewal offer of putting our names on our seats, we could extend that to the wurzels by printing 'CARROT CRUNCHING-CUNT' on every one of them at no additional charge.
