Have been to a lot of those grounds, but Chesterfield was Saltergate, and i doubt if many Brighton fans would consider Withdean as a 'lost ground'! :thumbright:

In fact been to every one except East Fife and Morecambe.

I missed the trip to Wimbledon and never went to Morecambe or East Fife for that matter. Some great stadiums there. 8 thousand in Eastville and it had more atmosphere than you get in the Emirates with sixty thousand. The Victoria ground Stoke always seemed like night even in the day. Dark, rainy and a realty check.

Some fantastic grounds there. My top three picks would be Roker Park, Baseball Ground and Leeds Road.

Apparently, the Brighton supporters trust wanted to change the name of the Amex to Gay Meadow. Shut That Door.

Away end was probably the safest tbh! The reason why the back of the North Bank was closed was because there was a very serious danger that with a large crowd the back wouldnt just collapse, but because of the way it was built it would force the front of the bank upwards at the same time. Much like a traditional weighing scale!

 i think the architect got the drawings for the away entrances mixed up with drawings for a local pub. and the GRANDstand, well if ever there was a misuse of a word . you Jacks must have been a bunch of really small skinny fuckers back in the day when that gangway at the back was designed.

If you had expressed that at the Amex Stadium a few weeks ago you would have been evicted from the ground by the PC brigade of stewards and Plod they had on duty that night.

I knew a Scots girl, once, a long time ago, who claimed to support East Fife. She was a Rangers fan really, though.

Because I thought the ground they were in now was shared with Bristol Rugby club or am I wrong?
