Cardiff City Football Club: A Cardiff City fan has died after being taken ill at an away match at Blackburn Rovers.
Bluebirds supporter Mike Jones travelled to Ewood Park to watch the Championship match on Tuesday.
Mr Jones, from Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, fell ill near the end of the game. He was taken to hospital but later died.
Cardiff City FC said a tribute to his life would be put in the programme for Saturday's game with Birmingham City.
In a statement, the club said: "We offer our sincere condolences to Mike's family and friends at this very difficult time."

Always a friendly face when getting on the supporters coach at Barry, one of the loyals. Such a sad loss. Thoughts with his friends and family at this sad time. RIP Mike

This must have been why our coach was held for an hour or so after the game. In hindsight I feel horrible about complaining about how long it took to leave after the game it looking back, although none of us knew the severity of the situation.

RIP fellow BLUEBIRD Mike - very sad news.
He looks very familiar from the photo posted. I wondered did he carry a wooden walking stick with him as I remember sitting near a man at the Derby county away that looked like him.
