He's probably just renovating his house so that he can move back in the summer months or after he retires. I'd love him back but I don't think we could afford him.

If we are still trying to sort out the wage structure id have thought his wages would be a stumbling block. If we want to spend high wages on someone id rather it be used for more forward thinking players.

Wez, I can tell you still has a property in Penarth Tan, Slade lived there during his time at Cardiff City.

I would have Ledley back for the Championship

Contract up and renovating his house but if Warnock doesn't want himthen that's it,unless he becomes a Tan signing

The biggest question is what colour is his bathroom going to be.

Is that the flat by the Oyster Catcher?

This move is going to be up to Ledley...he is a very, very wealthy man...if he wants to come home badly enough he just contacts Warnock himself (they know each other from when he managed Palace) and if he is reasonable with his wage demands i would imagine we would sign him....over to you Joe

You must want to know otherwise you would not say it

I would take him back everyday of the week, if we was ever going to play two sitting midfielders for a formation him and Gunnarsson would complement each other.
Tue Mar 07, 2017 5:44 pm
Couldn't even afford half his wages...

Indeed Mr Dando....ideal formation for a tough away game

I am not the biggest fan of the 4-2-3-1 formation but with Ledley and Gunnarsson as potential sitters in that formation it could be key to get us up the table next season.

I'm not convinced he's good enough for the Championship any more, he's had a good career though fair play.
Tue Mar 07, 2017 7:58 pm
He didn't enjoy playing for warnock at palace
Tue Mar 07, 2017 8:58 pm
He's not good enough anymore
He can't see 90 minutes of a game
He normally gets substituted in most games
Even Chris Coleman subs him
We've got Ralls who's a better player than him
Go back to Celtic Joe that's your level
Tue Mar 07, 2017 9:48 pm
He was a runner who as he got older started to sit because it hides that fact that you lost your legs. Like Gunnarson can only play that position as a destructive player not a creator. One has to be able to pass and if Joe is the best we'd be knackered. With 2 sitters you need wingbacs and our Neil doesn't do that.
No thanks

No Tans house is off Marine Parade and Ledleys place is near the cliff tops Penarth about 50 metres from mine!

"Tans house is off Marine Parade" - next door to my wife's uncle and aunt; used to speak to Russ quite a bit, eye opener on the life of a football manager and his family.

No, but I'd take him back!
