Now onto the League. Amazed it will be their first ever Championship.

Pipped by Sheffield think it was on previous games rules consolation was they made it to the Guinness book of records 21 league (22 all games) winning streak . was the season we signed
ex-NHL defenceman Craig Weller.

In the current format, which has been going for about 15 years, the Devils have never been Champions, but they were League Champions at least three times in previous incarnations of Hockey League top flights.

Thanks wasn't clear at outset which championship being referred to. :thumbup:
