In my opinion our main problem at Cardiff City for next season remains .

The fact we don't have any footballers, in our defence.

MORRISON CONNELLY AND BAMBA are not . Comfortable on the ball ,are not good passers and are
very wastefull when in possesion.

In my opinion the only player on our books, but probably leaving in the summer and who can hold the ball and pass the ball is Bruno Manga.

I would use Connelly and Morrisons wages, to try and keep Manga.
Manga and Bamba would be . My two.

First choice centre backs bring Ajayi back and Halford to stay as two back ups.

Get two new full backs who can defend but also hold the ball and pass.

Then a new midfield general, plus a creator (not Whitts but someone with a bit of pace).

And a striker to play off Zohore who knows where the net is ,and back up for Zohore thats the Ins done for me.

Decisions have to be made as hard as they are to move some on.

Out for me would be Morrison, Connelly, Whitts, plus we have too many similar type players in
Craig Noone, Kadeem Harris, Junior Holliet , Anthony Pilkington plus Matty kennedy when back.

So for me financially Noone or Pilks has to go.

Finaly I would sign Mcgregor if the wages were right.
Ben Wilson I would keep plus add another keeper.

See its quite simple really this football management thing .

I like defenders to be able to defend first but you raise a very good point. Faith in Warnock.

I would let Manga go, far too injury prone for a centre half.

We need a goalie....... We'll all agree on that.

Two non nonsense Centre halfs. Bamba & Morrison with Halford/Connolly as back works

Two Non nonsense full backs whose job it is to defend...Peltier and Richards with Bennett and Connolly works for me

One traditional DM.... Who can tackle and pass, Halford is the back up

Two midfield pressers....Who can get around the field Ralls definitely, Gunnar is going to have to lose a bit of that bulk (IMO) but need another

A "10" - Need to drop of of the midfielders but we'll need to control games at home

Two wide forwards who can get into the box (10 goals a season types) and occasionally score. Harris is starting to show promise, I am not overly convinced on Holliet if he demands big cash

Striker - Well Kenny is doing a job, we need another mobile forward to push him and cover

Required - GK, DM, CM, A "10", wide forward, mobile forward

Going - Manga, Whitts, Saadi, Kennedy, Noone, Fred,Huws,John,O'Keefe and possibly Gunnar (decent money pays for the extra class we need). Hopefully Lambert

Warnock likes his no nonsense centre backs. I'm still unsure on Morrison myself, if a offer comes in that gives us a fee it wouldn't surprise me to see him replaced.
I can't see Manga staying.
I'd like to see a fullback who can offer a little more going forward. We have a lot of options in defence but they are all a bit similar. Connelly and Halford are great as back up. I'd try and find new homes for Bennett and Richards and bring in another fullback.

There's nothing wrong with our defence. Warnock has said himself that the balance is right. Can't Richards and peltier defend?

Personally I think if manga goes then we'll need another CB as back up to bamba and Morrison.
