Connolly got treatment for a bad foul on the edge of our box but never left the field.
Was that an error by the ref or have the rules changed?

Thought rule was changed that the player fouled does not have to leave pitch? It's to stop offending team from gaining advantage

The change is if the player requires treatment and offending player is booked he can stay on pitch
