Still on the way back from QPR.

Thought we were very unlucky to leave Loftus Road with nothing today. I would say that a win for either team would be a harsh result on the other team, and a draw would've been about right - but not to be.

I know Warnock says we need 50 points before we're safe, but I think we're already there. We're 12 points clear of the bottom three with eleven games to go, and it would take an incredible run of results for us to go down.

We started brightly and caused QPR problems early on, with Kadeem Harris particularly impressive in the early stages. But they grew into the match and were unlucky not to take the lead when they hit the post.

Our goal was probably against the run of the play, but a great header by Sol Bamba - who would be my man of the match for us. He was crucial once again at the back.

Second half we were the better team for a lot of it, but a great finish from them made it 1-1. Just before the goal that proved to be QPR's winner, McGregor made a great save. Didn't look like he could do anything about the goal moments later but always disappointing to concede from a set piece.

All in all, a disappointing journey back but it wasn't a bad performance from us. The good thing about this period is Warnock can learn a lot about some of the players currently at the club and whether he wants to keep them next season.

If I was going to criticise anyone, it would be Connolly and Morrison. I don't like singling players out but, even though they both made crucial tackles, they both make far too many mistakes.

Confident we can get the three points at Blackburn, but this is a phase now where Warnock can start planning for next season. Of course wins along the way would be great, but luckily we're not in danger anymore.

Great support from Cardiff City fans today :ayatollah:

Agree with you on Morrison. Complete 'lumper'. Thought Connolly tried to play the ball a bit more on the ground and was far more skilful with the ball at his feet.

Personally I thought they were both very wasteful in possession, but especially Morrison I agree - and he's been like it for far too long now. Turner used to be just as bad, but always felt happier with his defending.

Very different game from last week.

Looked like two mid table teams with little to play for and all three goals came from poor defending.

For me, if Warnock is serious about a promotion challenge next season we need to start with two better full backs and to replace Morrison at centre back.

So many mis-kicks and mis-hits today - the ball was going all over the place.

Consistency is a problem at the moment - QPR were nothing special at all but we contrived to lose a game we should really have won.

Disappointing but really we just need to get through this season as quickly as possible and start afresh for next.

I thought we were poor in the air today, both defensively and up front. Also,we've got to start taking our chances as it cost us at least a point today. I think a draw would have been a fair result but we could have easily won the game if Hoilet particularly had taken a clear cut opportunity.

Pretty much what I've said elsewhere. Lots of options in defence but the balance is all wrong.

I agree on Morrison, he has some good points but he has no idea where the ball is going when he heads it out of defence. He continually heads it to opposition players and it comes straight back putting us under pressure. He is also suspect when dealing with crosses, he is ok if the ball comes straight towards him but otherwise his positioning is rubbish and he also gets muscled off the ball too easily. Connolly used to he decent when bringing the ball out of defence but his confidence seems shot. He is too slow for a full back and his positioning again is crap. Manga is very suspect in the air but decent with the ball. Get shot if all three I say

I'm usually a big fan of Connolly, however, I think against Derby, Fulham and again yesterday he has been poor and has cost us 4 goals from bad defending. He gets caught out of position a lot
