Neil Warnock has kept faith with the Cardiff City team that drew 2-2 with Fulham last week, naming an unchanged team for the clash with Queens Park Rangers.

Kenneth Zohore once again leads the line, while Matt Connolly keeps his place at right back, despite a few calls from fans to reinstate Joe Bennett.

As it is, Jazz Richards continues at left-back and Junior Hoilett, Kadeem Harris and Craig Noone are all named in a fairly attacking lineup from Warnock versus his old team.

Again there is no place for Peter Whittingham, as Warnock opts for the solidarity of Cardiff linchipins Joe Ralls and Aron Gunnarsson in the middle.

A bit surprised Halford wasn't picked for this one. Not disappointed but a tad surprised.

Ian Holloway's programme notes

Ian Holloway:

As a QPR person, I’m very thankful for what Neil Warnock did for this football club during his time here as manager.
However all that goes out of the window because I want to beat him!
Today’s game against Cardiff will be tight, it will be close, but I just want to come out with the right result - that’s what it’s all about at this time of the season. It’s so tight in the Championship.
Ian Holloway, QPR manager

Apparently Lambert missed the team bus because he couldn't find a pair of trousers with a pocket big enough to hold his wallet.

Maybe not, although if he's contracted to us we'll pay every last penny of his wages even if he's gone elsewhere to play his football. He'll probably want away but he'll want a pay off. It will probably be his last significant pay day and he'll want every last penny due under the contract The lad's done very well this year 70% of premiership salary off West Brom and £ 25 k a week off us x 2 years.

Tony, it's shocking business and a lot of money lost.
