Tommy Gemmell was part of a Celtic team that became the first British team to win the European Cup.All the players came from and lived within the Glasgow area can you imagine that today. A scorer in 1967 Gemmell also scored against Feyenoord in the European Cup Final of 1970 which Celtic lost 2-1.He was a victim of the dreaded Alzheimer's disease the curse of today.
