Surprised at that, thought we'd take 800 max going by recent away matches.

Good news though, hopefully get that over 1,000 :ayatollah:

Well impressed with this, I got to be honest, I didn't think we would take any more than 600-700 :ayatollah:

I was waiting for the top tier to sell out. Will be buying 6 tickets tomorrow. I like qpr's ground. Always a good atmosphere there.

Thought we'd be low for this with the Wales away trip coming up and the prices. It's certainly put some of our regulars off.

I have to say I agree on that, I have said it before, for many years now our fans decide on three away games and the majority who like going away seem to all go to those ones. It will have been Villa,Birmingham and QPR away and our local derby game Bristol City.

Whats happend though, is where we would say take 800 on a long distance away game or even 1,000 away fans thats gone down to virtually a few hundred if that. Hopefully many of them will come back next season under Neil Warnock :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

i know our away suport has not been great for a while.
but this year {only this year} i do think there is a good reason. and the reason applies to ST sales also.
Wales.
my 10 day jaunt to france turned into returning 3 times. paying 105..85 and,,295 euros for tickets for those games alone.
on top of that the 3 away games with Cyprus, Austria and now ROI in the last 12 months have attracted lots of interest .
this has to have some effect on peoples finances.
btw the 295 ticket was face value CAT2 in a corner right up back.. yes it was a semi {once in a life time } but thousands and thousands found the money. i bumped into more Cardiff fans id known for years in France than i do at home games.

I know many City fans who now follow Wales away instead of City.
Last season we had the 3rd worst away support in the Championship, hopefully it will have over all improved come May, I think it has :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

what ive noticed this season is the average age of our travelling fans has dropped big time.
and yes im far more likely to bump in to Cardiff fans my age from all over Wales that ive known since the 70s at Wales away games.
changing of the guard.
it will be good in the long term.
