Fulham Player Sat

Apparently the lad that took out Harris broke his jaw for his troubles.

Interesting that the Fulham fans seemed to think we were "kicking lumps out of them". Amazing how 2 different sets of fans see the same game so differently I guess. I thought it was an open game and their players were just as guilty with the dark arts. There were a few good shout we didn't get in our favour. And that "challenge" that earned the fulham player a broken jaw could have been a bad one on Harris too. Literally body checked him from what I could see.

Piazon picked the wrong player....Kads is a karate king!
In the build up to their second, there were two clear fouls - one on Connolly then one on Gunnars.....the ref missed both, as did linesman.

Agree 100% with this. Ref let the game flow but bottled key decisions:

1. Penalty on Morrison from Gunnarsson long throw.
2. Red card for Piazon, no way it was just a yellow.
3. Penalty on Harris, Fredericks did a Piazon inside the area and didn't get a freekick for it.
4. The two fouls, especially the one on Gunnarsson, in the build up to their second.

Love the way City fans only see the decisions that go against us. I've seen plenty of games where we have had a bit of luck with bad decisions, but they are never mentioned. When we win, the ref rarely gets mentioned. Everything evens out over the season. No point blaming officials every single time we fail to win a game. Bad decisions were made yesterday, but for both sides.

Reckless tackle by the Fulham lad and could have caused Harris a bad injury so I'm afraid I have no sympathy for him.

Should have been a straight red.

As for kicking lumps out of them

Some of these teams think that we should just let them do what they want without ever putting in a tackle.

Nice to see us getting stuck in now and again - we've been too bloody soft for too long recently.
