" A TOUGH GAME TODAY FOR CARDIFF CITY AND FOR ME "

A DRAW WAS A FAIR RESULT.

BUT FOR ANYONE STILL DREAMING OF THE PLAY-OFFS,WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT SEASON.

The Second-half Cardiff looked tired after giving so much in the first-half, City struggled,so a draw was a fair result.

The Canton Stand was bouncing today and loud.

Zohore, Gunnarsson, Kadeem Harris and Junior Hoilett had stood out for City.

The first half, Cardiff had clearly the better chances and were unlucky not to be leading by half-time.

City fans received great news just before kick-off with the announcement of Neil Warnocks new contract being signed for next season :thumbright: :bluebird:

Cardiff started well, had a few chances, Fulham broke away from a Cardiff free kick which was wasted and Fulham scored in the 18th min, quite an easy breakaway goal. 0-1

Cardiff continued to be the better team and it finally paid of with Kenneth Zohore scoring in the 24th min 1-1 :bluebird:
It was another excellent taken goal by Zohore.

Cardiff had the better chances and created more and could of gone in leading at half-time.

Zohore, Gunnarsson, Harris and Junior Hoilett had stood out for City.

In the 56th minute Zohore won the ball and ran with it and drilled it with his right foot 2-1 City :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

City were then in control for long spells, but then sloppiness from City allowed Fulham's substitute to make it 2-2 in the 67th min.

Fulham for the first time in the game looked now in control and Cardiff looked tired.

In the 86th min Declan John replaced Craig Noone.

Declan John hit the post in the 90th miniute.

They have given everything over the last few weeks, 3wins from 4. I expect Fulham to challenge next season if not this season. Massive progress being made by city.

Totally agree Gareth, today we gave our all and our team looked tired and the small squad is now telling.
For weeks we have given everything :bluebird: :bluebird:

Annis,

QPR good for us, small squad will catch up with us and I definitely wouldn't let Zohore go.

You not on your own in your estimations of him but that is what's NW is super at. If only he had been with us going into last summer Hmmm

Karl, The problem is we still have dead wood,we need a squad with quality and not to small, 5 more good players needed :thumbright: :thumbright:

Neil Warnock will do it :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

A great game, two good teams, but we deserved the win, Hoillets miss 's in the first half no Kadeem shooting into touch instead of putting Zahore through cost us, but don't worry Warnock was already letting them know it from the touch line, and will drill it into them this week !!!!

we definitely couldve won it, but it's proof that we aren't ready for promotion and what I deem to be a fair result brings us back to reality :ayatollah:

Enjoyed the game and thought it was a fair and predictable result. Hopefully more entertaining games to come now no pressure on us, but I think our squad size may mean we will struggle now and again. No problem this season though, we are not going to be playing anywhere other than in this division next season so I think for the next couple of months we can relax and enjoy the ride. :thumbright:

A good game of football which we should have taken a couple of those chances in the first half.We were really hanging on at times in the second half and I was surprised Warnock didn't freshen up the mid field.Well done Zohore Man of the match and probably February player of the Month as well

It would be a travesty if Zohore and Warnock don't get manager and player of the month awards.

The Play Off's would be an incredible achievement which are probably a pipe dream but I for one am not going to rule them out just yet. The optimist inside me wont allow it

We actually gained a point on 6th today with Wednesday losing so its down to 12 now, the teams above us are not a million miles away either as Fulham in 7th are only 7 point's above us.

If we can win the next two games which are achievable we will be going into back to back home games against Birmingham and Ipswich on a huge high. I know that the teams above us are obviously going to pick up points aswell but if we can keep chipping away whats to say that 12 point gap cant be down to 5-6 after the next 6 games, the 40 game mark.

Going into the last 6 games, 21 points anything could happen then, one of which would be against Sheffield Wednesday themselves.

What an absolute incredible situation and all credit to Neil Warnock for putting us in this position :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Should have won.

A hard earned point against a good footballing team, but I was disappointed with both goals we conceded, especially the first one. We could have won yes, but there again Fulham had the potential of nicking a late winner themselves. It was becoming more & more difficult too break out of our half in the second half, & I was happy to take the point in the end!

Very enjoyable game, some of Fulhams football was top drawer stuff, Citys fight and effort was very impressive, we are starting to be a threat going forward with harris, hoilet, noone and zahore. A world away compared to some of the shite served up before Warnock. I'm confident we can go very close next season :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Nothing to moan about and another fantastic game at the CCS full of drama.
I havent enjoyed watching City as much since the Eddie May days. I know we saw the Premiership but it was a compromise having to tolerate the rebrand.
Warnock has given me something I thought had gone forever. I love watching this side! Superb! :bluescarf:
