Looking forward to the post game walk along South Africa Road seperated from the QPR hard boys  by a line of disinterested plod and their dogs going ballistic.

At least we shouldn't have fireworks aimed at us like a couple of seasons ago.

Surprised, given the cost.
However I know Tony is on his second coach and Tichy is pretty full.

Hopefully a bit of interest is coming back.

Seems to be a lot more youngsters this season- and not before time too !

A fella on another thread has said 900 sold yesterday, if true that is outstanding :bluescarf:

Baffles me mind on why we took so few to Leeds giving the ticket prices are not worlds apart.

Can't speak for others but logistics play a huge part for me these days, like to be home and tucked up by 9.30 :laughing6:

I'm not buying that Stringfellow my friend

I would imagine most people will be going by Coach or Car and that is not going to cost an awful lot of difference to what Leeds would have cost.

In terms of time, Leeds is further away, undeniable, but it's not that much of a difference, an hour extra. It will take 2 and half hours to get to Shepherds Bush, possibly pushing 3 if traffic is bad, this is London after all.

I think it's a psychological thing with some of our fans, I reckon some must think 'f**k Leeds, that's miles away, I ain't having any of that Last of the summer wine turnout', its as if they think Yorkshire is on the other side of the world, then on the other hand you have somewhere like Burton and people suddenly think it's like a local derby when Leeds in only 60 odd miles further up the road than that.

I reckon those that went to Leeds were back home just gone 9.

I think your right, psychologically people think it's the other side of the world but for me that day we walked out half time in protest was a shocker and that coupled with being stuck on a bus after a long journey has stuck. I said that day I won't be back, and I haven't.

As for others, QPR is a good little trip and we will travel well next week.

On a different not me and it's been brought up before, with the odd exception we are taking more away than sides being to us. Today was yet another example and this team are chasing play offs.

Absolutely mate, by the time the season finishes we will have taken more fans to other Clubs than they have brought here, think it will look about 16/8 in our favour by the time the season is over

They used to have the best hot dogs in the league. Top away trip too.

Puts it into context.
Unfair to compare with clubs who have half their games within 90 minutes drive - most Midlands and Northern clubs for example.
Even. London clubs have 6/7 easy trips.

Our 2nd shortest trip is 2 hours away.
Also how many have to buy memberships to travel ?
Only Leeds as far as I'm awar and they still have tens of thousands of plastics around UK.

Mind you I remember a few seasons back that stat you show was something like 21/22 to 2/3 with only Ipswich or Norwich, Leeds and maybe one other bringing now to us than we took away.
I think we were fighting for the play offs during that time and it was similar for 3-4 years

Totally correct.

I drove to Leeds, stayed to applaud every player off the pitch and down the tunnel, got to the car and was on the road at just gone 5pm.

I got in my house at 8.45pm and stopped for fuel on way back and I live in Neath.
