Agree, but was always worried when we had to play his teams, they were always more committed than us, and I always wanted our team to be more like his !!!!!

Agree he seems to get the best out of average players

Always liked him because he was old school. Loved seeing the passion on the touchline especially when we had managers like Dave Jones and Slade who just stood on the side with their arms folded and never seemed to do anything to change the course of a game.

I remember when we were playing in red and Warnock brought his Leeds team to the new stadium. As he got off the bus he was laughing and saying to our fans "We're playing in blue today lads!"

And I'm sure it was the only time that season Leeds played in a blue kit - classic Warnock.

Also remember at Ninian Park when his Sheffield United team clinched promotion - he always spoke well of Cardiff and the fans also.

His record speaks for itself.He also got a poor Plymouth team up via the play offs in 1996.
Was extremely pleased when he took the job.

I've always though of him as honest and straight talking. The sort of person who speaks his mind and if that upsets someone, tough. The sort of person I like, and if he can get this club to the PL, I hope he is given the opportunity to keep us there.

Iv'e always liked him like listening to him on talk sport and thought he was the best appointment in our situation and so it proved out to be and not surprised with what he has done before.

Was never his biggest fan although new he was a good manager. Did I want him to manage us before? No. However when he took over it was a no brainer and he has done better than expected. I fully believe he can make us progress. Probably my favourite manager since Dave Jones. I read his book while on holiday in December and it makes me appreciate his work even more.

Always liked the fella. Knew he was our type of boss and us his type of club. Told him as much when I met him in July. The rest is history. You can thank me later...

Agree with the posts but he would annoy me as his sides would often frustrate us, always dirty and often pinch an undeserved result. I didn't realise he was as tactically astute as he is, not just blood and guts. Perfect fit.

Exactly how I felt and was more than delighted when Warnock joined us

Always liked Warnock and after Slade left he was my first choice as Manager and if we had appointed him instead of Trollope I think we would be in the Play Off picture now! He has a fantastic track record and is 'old school' he understands football and the importance of supporters however I remember when he brought his Sheffield United side to Ninian Park and the whole Grange End and Bob Bank were singing 'Warnock you're a Wanker' how times change.

You speak for me also.And now you hear other managers speak of us in the same way.I'm glad to have him inside the tent pissing out,so to speak.

Never really liked him before he came here but always admired him as a manager at this level. I'm so glad he's our manager now working for us and not having to play against his teams. Roll on next season.
