Really are a sub species of the human race!
Totally disconnected with the rest of us in the real world. The massive money in the game has changed the people on the pitch, from premier league downwards, from 1st team to youngsters. They really think there are 'it'.
On the pitch, rolling around after a feather of a touch. Bloody embarrasing. The game will be non contact in 20 years time with players moving to a position on the pitch and standing still until a pass is attempted. Move, stationary, pass. Like netball.
And for a group of millionnaire players at Leicester, to refuse to put in 100% because they no longer like their manager is astonishing. And their reward is......the manager goes!! No matter that that all season they have coasted, letting down their supporters (who like us, bleed for their club, arrange holidays around fixtures, defeats hurt almost physicallY), walk around, taking no responsibility but taking their millions.
There is no honesty left.
Wankers..........

57....
They really are a bunch of overpaid tarts though. And now they are running the game. Look at payet.
Oh for more Joey Dwyer, Jason Perry's, Andy Legg's. It hurt them as much as us when we lost. Not now......

I'm 59.We can't really have any other opinion at our age.

I'm 27 and I agree, I was taught to take the man with the ball the harder the better. Your right though, I don't watch premier league any more its full of overpaid fags and tourist stadiums.

I agree with the OP.
I recall when we had Chopra I was listening to a group of young schoolkids singing his song outside the ground. Personally if I met the guy in a shop I would not acknowledge him for the reasons above.
However I'm not that older of a duff yet as I did take a picture of Fabio with my daughter who was madly in love with him.

The sport is now a business and the players, just like greedy company execs suck most of the money out of it whether successful or not.
There is enough money in "the business" to get a decent wage, invest in grass roots employees and give the customers great value for money........
But this doesn't happen. The business sucks as much out of the customer as possible KNOWING they will not go elsewhere, the employees are given extortionate amounts of money way above what would be necessary for even the most affluent of lifestyles and investment back into the community is done with one eye on obtaining greater profit and NOT for the good of the community.
The emerging markets are only making it worse. Like Russia before it China is offering salaries of £615,000 per week (CEO Tevez), then will probably pay his taxes and all this in a country where the class and money divide is appalling. With human rights issues that even British governments ignore.
You are so correct.... they are a sub-species of the human race. The business owners are to blame the salaries on offer should have been capped across the sport 25 years ago.
Unfortunately the employees are never now going to just say "oh that's too much". It has been said that no one would turn down these vast amounts of money but I hope there is some sort of moral compass amongst at least a portion of the human race otherwise we really are fucked.
Oh and good morning. Welcome to game day

But no matter how much people moan its the same people paying in to a game to help all of the above

Unless fans stick together and say enough is enough then nothing will change it only get worse but the thought of better players and £££ at whatever club devides fans, the rebrand proved this for us lot as some bend over backwards for some ££ some didn't want anything

Modern Football in general is absolute gash imo

I don't blame the players, most people will take all that is on offer. We are a greedy society, just look at the stampedes we see on the news on black Friday or whatever it's called. I blame the system for making that sort of money available in the first place. There is no need for players, agents etc., to get anywhere near that sort of money, there should be no need for anyone to spend more than a tenner to watch a game of football. Too much money in sport, and we treat the players like some sort of gods. If football ceased to exist tomorrow, we would live. It won't be football players who will save your life if something catastrophic happens to your health tomorrow, and it won't be their agents who will nurse you back to health. It will be mainly real people who live in the real world.

We should all cancel our sky tv contracts. If Sky went bust then football would be screwed. Personally id love to see one of the really big players go bust. Liverpool would be my club of choice for that!

Football is not alone with the exploitation of fans.
I give you the example of Sky boxing and Eddie Hearns Matchroom organisation. Here are two influential companies absolutely taking your average sport fan for a ride.
Hardened boxing fans are becoming more and more disillusioned with the sport they love due to the greed and capitalism of these big companies. The 'sky machine' completely controls this sport in the UK. The reason for this is the concept of the pay per view tv coverage. Average fights being promoted as super fights so casual fans can lap it all up to pay their £16.95 fee to be entertained.
Football fans are no different to boxing fans, they are getting exploited because they are addicted to the product on offer. Sky and Bt are effectively drug pushers.
The only way it can be stopped is if enough people boycott these channels and in reality this ain't gonna happen.

I remember when Sky started to charge extra for the big fights about 20 odd years ago. If evert sky subscription holder had refused to pay extra,it would have died a death straight away.

True, in business you charge the maximum the market will stand, a willingness from viewers to pay premium rates for big fights meant SKY had pitched it just right.
