Truth was there was a mass brawl between CCFC fans and a few old bill in our end, I saw a gap and thought "I'm getting outta here as this looks dodgy". I walked towards the gap, copper set dog on me that bit me on the leg, copper then punched me in the side of the face and I was dragged along the pitch to eventually get chucked in a police van waiting outside.
At court my solicitor said that the coppers had concocted a story as one of them messed up his version when in the dock.
Magistrates (all rich land / farm owners no doubt) wouldn't even listen to our case - just hated the fact that a load of thugs came to their town to cause riot.
Hated the town ever since even though, strangely I have an affinity to HUFC (as I do with Bristol Rovers)

My friend was arrested Collin on the way out of the ground, they reckoned he had been involved in the fighting in the away end with the Police, but in fact we were both in the home end for most of the game, so I went to Court as a witness and they then tried to twist it that he had been involved in trouble in theregave him a £50 fine.
I listened to the other cases, your right the court staff and Magistrates were full of farmers

I remember waiting outside the courtroom before my case and some young City fans were taken out of court for shouting out to the coppers "You're all f-img lying". Probably there the same day as you, Annis.
