' CARDIFF CITY PUT OUT AN ATTACKING TEAM '

' Updated '

But Cardiff City have No striker on the bench, if only they could of signed one in January.

No Rickie Lambert in the Cardiff squad today. He’s got a back injury and hasn’t trained this week. In fact, there’s no out-and-out striker on the Bluebirds’ bench, Lambert could be out for quite a while.

McGregor, Connolly, Morrison, Bamba, Richards, Ralls, Gunnarsson, K Harris, Noone, Zohore, Healey

Subs: Murphy, Bennett, John, Halford, Whittingham, Hoilett, Pilkington

Neil Warnock's programme notes

Neil Warnock:

"I have to say that if it wasn’t for Rotherham and their fans last season I wouldn’t be here managing Cardiff City today. They gave me such a big lift - the way everybody responded during a difficult period - so I owe them a big ‘thank you’ and wish the Millers fans a safe journey home after the match. Managing Rotherham for the time I did was an absolute pleasure and what we accomplished ranks as one of my proudest achievements."
