NEIL WARNOCK: "CARDIFF CITY FANS"

' Neil Warnock lauds supporters '

Neil Warnock:

"I want to pay credit in my notes this afternoon to our supporters for making two long trips to Derby and Leeds over the past week."

"You put in a lot of miles for us - and the noise you made at those two big stadiums went a long way to helping us towards two great victories away from home.
Even though there were 30,000 Leeds fans and 25,000 Derby fans making noise, we all spoke after the game about how well you made yourselves heard."

City had 430 fans away at Leeds and 308 fans away at Derby County.

Neil Warnock's programme notes

Neil Warnock:

"I have to say that if it wasn’t for Rotherham and their fans last season I wouldn’t be here managing Cardiff City today. They gave me such a big lift - the way everybody responded during a difficult period - so I owe them a big ‘thank you’ and wish the Millers fans a safe journey home after the match. Managing Rotherham for the time I did was an absolute pleasure and what we accomplished ranks as one of my proudest achievements."
