Rotherham Saturday

Wed Feb 15, 2017 1:25 pm

This game isn't going to be easy most people are expecting the 3 points

We'll have to put up a fight for 3 wins out of 3 and what a massive statement that would send to tan from warnock

Also adeyemi and Ajayi as they are on loan from us would this rule these 2 out ? Both first team players both scored last game surely would help us if we got the clause ?

Both are ruled out, as they are our players :thumbright:

Warnock (thankfully) won't take Rotherham lightly. He's been there and knows what they are capable of. He will also have noted how well they have been playing of late without picking ups too many points

Last night was a point in principle when they lost 3-2 to third placed Huddersfield :ayatollah:

Yup on loan from us so definielty cant play against us.

Like Sven said, Warnock knows what they're all about and I'm confident he will prepare for a tough match. There are no gimmies in the championship.

This is going to be a tough game, Rotherham are still fighting to stay up. I wouldn't be surprised if we draw, but I would take a 1-0 win :ayatollah:

A tough game? Your kidding right?

There might not be any gimme's in the Championship as one poster has said but Rotherham are as close as your going to get.

Anything other than 3 points on Saturday would be a massive shock.

There is a reason that Rotherham are 14 points adrift at the bottom and on a whopping -38 goal difference and that is because they are shit for want of a better word.

They have played 16 away games this season and lost 15 of them, they have a whopping total of 1 point from their Away games so far.

They have lost 5 of the last 6 with the only point coming at HOME to fellow stragglers Blackburn.

They will also be without 2 players who started their last game due to ineligibility (I presume).

I'm honestly flabbergasted how anyone could come to the conclusion this will be a tough game :?:

The games expected to win are always tougher always an expectation

Rotherham will try and sit tight frustrating us , if we manage to get an early goal their game plan could go out the window , of course in everyone's mind we will win this just because they are bottom, they got 17 points from teams so they will take points off people they don't lose every single game

Hope our players don't have the attitude it will be an easy game because it could be a frustrating one

Errr, 15 defeats out of 16 on the road with a return of 1 point from 48 would suggest they do lose pretty much every game away from home at least.

I would never describe this fixture as 'tough' in a million years, and it would be a shock if we didn't win.

Just cast your minds back to Peterborough at home 2012/13.

Take nothing for granted.

I'm surprised you are flabbergasted - unless you are a new supporter of Cardiff City. This will be a tough game.

I can see where your coming from, we really should win this game comfortably, but they are fighting to stay up. And as others have said this is Cardiff city we are more likely to beat Newcastle 5-0 than beat Rotherham.

Yeah, its my first game, I can't wait to go and cheer on Nigel Warlock and the boys  I'v been going home and away since 1990 apart from an enforced 3 year sabbatical not that it matters, I'm sure there are plenty on here who have been going longer than me and plenty that haven't, not entirely sure what your point is

Derby, Leeds, Brighton and Reading away were 'tough' games, Rotherham at home should be a cake walk.

We are an in form team, playing under a manager who knows this division inside out. Rotherham are absolute wank, the table doesn't lie.

16 away games, 15 defeats, 1 draw.

Evidently not to many of the teams they have played away so far have found them very 'tough'.

I don't think they are fighting to stay up to be honest, I think they are resigned to relegation and have accepted it, that could actually make them more dangerous mind you, having said that though, everyone else beats them at home and I would expect us to be no different.

The past is the past, and this Cardiff side can't be compared with previous teams, under previous managers, in previous stadiums even.

It's a new era  :bluescarf:
