' UNDER NEIL WARNOCK '

No side in the Championship restricts teams inside the box like Cardiff do since Neil Warnock took over Cardiff City.
Cardiff have the lowest percentage of shots against allowed within the 18 yard area) and it is on such platforms promotions are built.
Aron Gunnarson, Bruno Manga, Rhys Healey,Craig Noone,Kadeem Harris,Sean Morrison have improved vastly under Neil Warnock, some have upped their game, but players like Aron Gunnason have in my opinion been outstanding. Warnock knows how to get the best out of players.
Players like Kenneth Zohore who looked like they were going no where,Warnock makes them believe in themselves and brings out any quality a player like Zohore has and for me I have to admit I never rated Zohore.
Then Warnock brings in free agents like Sol Bamba and Junior Hoilett, for me quality players that are up there with the best in the Championship.
Warnock knows how to frustrate other teams and their managers and even their fans
Warnock also does not bottle it on the big occasions like some of Cardiff's previous managers.
Matches like Bristol City home and away,Aston Villa home and Leeds away Warnock gets the wins when needed.
Warnock has asked for less control by Tans committee and asked to be backed this summer, for me without a doubt he should be.
City would get bigger crowds, increased sales of merchandise and more sponsorship if fans saw City backing Neil Warnock.
Back Neil Warnock next season and I personally believe, but most of all Neil Warnock believes he can deliver promotion for Cardiff City in 2017-18 season and on a small budget compared to clubs like Norwich,Brighton,Aston Villa,Newcastle etc. :thumb right:

Without a doubt Annis, great post and Warnock won't waste millions buying crap, he will mould a side to win the Championship next season.
Tue Feb 14, 2017 8:44 am
Totally agree Annis. In all of my time watching City Warnock has impressed me the most. He was tailor made for our club and I believe he can get us promoted on 50% of the budget other top clubs at this level have. He has to be backed and then I think we are in for a season to remember. I haven't felt this positive about the club in a long long time!

City are punching above their weight due to a manager, Tan appointed at the fourth attempt. To let go of Warnock, now, because he is not backed would be yet another monumental error by Tan. Failure to back the manager, and further years of austerity would result in Warnock going, another, 'Yes,' man being appointed and certain relegations.

Warnock is certainly ticking all the boxes at the moment.A defining moment awaits us at the end of the season.
Tue Feb 14, 2017 10:12 am
With ST likely to go on sale anytime now the club needs to 100% commit to NW being manager here next season, to 100% commit to NW having the final say on who stays, goes and arrives at the club and of course to 100% back him financially.
We don't have Cup or Playoff Finals to sell Season Tickets on the back of, the club has something better than that it's called Neil Warnock.

Giving Warnock £6m is more than fair - even more so when you look at the money thrown at some of the previous managers! Our wage bill should also now be in check by the summer.
Tue Feb 14, 2017 11:58 am
6 mill is a reasonable budget and I can see Tan giving Warnock it.
Tue Feb 14, 2017 12:17 pm
You wont get many managers wanting that small a budget with his credentials
There is NO way it can be a No
Tue Feb 14, 2017 12:19 pm
Whatever Warnock leaves us with, promotion or not, will be a strong squad for the future. Not like some of the messes other managers have lead us in. We need to move forward by adding a couple of players when a new manager comes in, not an overhaul every 12 months.

why is tan still dragging this on get warnock signed to the longest contract possible and do it now before someone else with a huge budget ie villa come on and nick him from under our noses

For the first and only time since relegation from the PL, the club feels right.
All down to NW.
Vinny move quickly ,it would be a tragedy not to support NW.

Who says he's dragging his heels? For all anyone knows things are being put in place ? As for villa they are not NW type of club and if it goes tits up with him at city he will retire like said he would
Tue Feb 14, 2017 10:12 pm
Got to back him for sure next season.
Tue Feb 14, 2017 11:15 pm
The man's a genius at this level. Whatever he asks for he should get.
Wed Feb 15, 2017 1:52 am
Warnock has said he needs less than £5 million for next season.

Allan, I'm with you on this one!
We don't know what either Vincent Tan or Neil Warnock are thinking or have agreed (even in principle) for nest season and to say otherwise is pure conjecture. Warnock himself stated that Tan was "very happy" when he spoke to him after Saturday's victory over Leeds and he must have been even happier after the Derby result!
Vinent Tan (like the rest of the footballing fraternity) will have seen the amazing turnaround at our club since Neil Warnock arrived and will have taken note. To me, the very fact that the two gentlemen met a couple of weeks ago is a positive indication that both want to discuss ways forward for the club and Vincent Tan cannot be anything other than impressed with his current manager; particularly after what he sees as the abject financial and/or footballing failure of his previous managers (one or two of whom had money at their disposal that Warnock could only dream of)
I'm sure it will all sort itself out soon enough and we will all have to be just a little more patient. After all, good things come to those who wait!
Wed Feb 15, 2017 3:53 am
At this rate we need to be very careful that we don't lost promotion hunting Warnock as the likes of Wolves, Villa, QPR and Forest will be watching him very carefully.
Get him signed for two more seasons now Tan. Imagine if we lost Warnock? I couldn't bare it. I think we will keep him though as he seems to genuinely love our club and our fans.

Chris, I'm surprised both you and me agree with alien for once!
People quick to knock something they have no idea about.
Wed Feb 15, 2017 9:51 am
quite right,

and why say Tan dragging his feet? don't people think he got other things going on?
Wed Feb 15, 2017 11:29 am
If Tan is such a good business man as that has been documented then surly he would have realised Warnock is a fantastic investment and will benefit the financial side of his club, so no f**king about Vincent time to speculate to accumulate as NW is the lifeline catalyst Cardiff have been waiting for!.
Wed Feb 15, 2017 8:50 pm
Please please please back NW! Future is bright with him in Charge.
Thu Feb 16, 2017 12:01 am
Colin said when he arrived that contracts are meaningless - he should know!!
My take is if he wants it it's his to have.
