Playing on home soil is always a source of confidence for us. Focused on nothing but doing our very best against Cardiff. #MOT
Leeds have been revitalised under Monk’s stewardship, with their form at home a key reason why the side are fighting for promotion back to the Premier League.
Monk has taken to Twitter ahead of the game with Cardiff to assure the club’s supporters that he expects the Yorkshire team to get back to their best against the Welsh visitors.
His post also pays tribute to the influence that the Leeds fans have had this season in supporting their team from the terraces.
The Whites find themselves in fifth place in the standings ahead of this weekend’s Championship fixtures, but will know that victory and other results going their way could see the club lifted back to third.
