Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has today said Lee Peltier and Bruno Manga will both be out for at least two months, but are still likely to get back for Cardiff City before the end of this season.

Anthony Pilkighton needs another five days to be fully fit.

Neil Warnock:

"Peltier’s had an operation on his ankle on Tuesday," said Warnock.

"We’ll know more about that in about two weeks, but he’s out for a few months.

"Apparently the operation was better than what we expected. We thought he'd have to had a severe operation. They took a few chunks of bone out of his ankle, but it's quite amazing how he’s played as long as he had."

"He should be ok before the end of the season.

"Pilks (Anthony Pilkington), I’m not sure about Tuesday, but he'll probably be fit for Rotherham," added Warnock.

"(Joe) Bennett feels a lot better.

"Lambert’s training and he's in the squad for tomorrow. He felt a lot better yesterday and joined in training so he’ll come into the reckoning."

"Joe Bennett is getting there, not fully fit but maybe in match squad as City down to their bare bones and we are still in a relegation fight."

Good News Rickie Lambert will be on the bench for the Leeds game :thumbright: But needs to get match fit.

Been on the card all season.

a few of us who think this way said come the end of season business time it will tell us a lot more if we will avoid relegation or not. That time is approaching.

It is going to be a close thing.

So the less dramatic way of looking at it is we've probably got 2 players less injured than we had last Sat if Bennett and Lambert are back.
2 medium term injured and another one back next week.

Really not that bad.

Jokes aside Bakes but yeah I would have and ever since we beat Villa I knew that we would pick up a few more wins that month.. since Villa I think we got ourselves out and weren't part of a relegation battle.

It is looking a lot better without doubt.

I've been saying we would get a result against either Leeds or Derby but if I was a betting man it would be against Derby. So hopefully we will get a full return Tuesday night. A win Tuesday and we are 8 points from safety.
