It would be great if it worked out that way mate. But the pessimist in me is thinking if it was passed and implemented then they would keep the numbers the same. Because in safe staying I believe there's still a seat that you food back for each standing space?

The capacity for safe standing would be approximately 12% larger for safe standing matches, and 12% less for non safe standing matches.
The old Wembley had two capacities, 100,000 for Saturday games and 92,000 for evening games. So it's nothing new.

Where are the extra people going to fit? The seats still exist and they can only sell one ticket per seat. It's not just like the old terraces where proper just squeeze in.
