Could London Be The First City To Soley Host A Major Tournament

With the plans of QPR new stadium move being released today, could London host a Major Tournament alone, without help from the rest of the UK?

By 2022, the number of stadiums in London that will be mordernised will be

1. Wembley Stadium - 90,000
2. New White Hart Lane - 61,000+ (Under Construction)
3. New Stamford Bridge - 60,000+ (Plans Passed)
4. Emirates Stadium - 60,000
5. Queen Elizabeth Stadium (West Ham) - 57,000
6. Craven Cottage - 30,000 (With Planned Expansion)
7. QPR Stadium - 30,000 (Stadium Move)
8. Selhurst Park - 40,000 (Planned Redevelopment)

There's is no other city in the world that could host it solely, but do you believe London could?

It would not be practical to have supporters from 32 different teams in one city for a month.

would be mental. i think thats why they stopped allocating groups to areas and instead send everyone zig zagging . imagine both us and slovakia in bordeaux along with russia and England for 12 days?

They should move the tournament to Argentina.
Buenos Aires wipes the floor with London, and the atmosphere is great too.

These are the main grounds there in the top two leagues.
There could be a future World Cup shared between Argentina and Uruguay.

Top tier
Boca Juniors 57,395
San Lorenzo 43,494
Banfield 34,901
Lanus 46,619
River Plate 65,645

Racing 64,161
Quilmes 30,200
Tigre 26,282
Velez Sarsfield 49,747
Huracan 48,314
Arsenal de Sarandi 18,300
